  1. Who can attend the Public Hearing?

    Any interested person or company may attend the public hearing. It is only need to be at the stated local, day and time with his/her personal identification document for entry into CMB.


  2. Attending to the Public Hearing means that my company will be contracted?

    No. The public hearing aims to promote a broad debate about the object specification to be contracted and the form of contract.


  3. Will CMB pay for the costs of travel and lodging related to the participation of my company at the Public Hearing?

    No. All travel expenses and lodging are company’s own responsibility.


  4. Is it necessary to provide any documentation to attend the Public Hearing?

    It is not necessary to provide any documentation to attend the public hearing. The documentation and the delivery of envelopes will only be necessary for the public session of the bidding. It is only necessary to present a personal identification document for entry into CMB.


  5. Are foreign companies required to present consularized or translated documentation to attend the Public Hearing?

    It is not necessary to provide any documentation, translation or consular documents for the public hearing. The documentation and the delivery of envelopes will only be necessary for the public session of the bidding. It is only necessary a personal identification document for entry into CMB.


  6. Will be there translation to my language during the Public Hearing?

    The public hearing will be held in Portuguese, with simultaneous translation to English.


  7. If I am late, can I still participate in the public hearing?

    Yes. The delay will not prevent participation of the public hearing session, but the oral expression will be allowed only after the participation of all subscribed and acoording to the time available.


  8. Attending to the Public Hearing means that my company will participate in the Auction?

    No. The public hearing is a debate prior to the bidding process. At the public hearing there is no submission, assessment or judgment of proposals or documentation. The rules for participation in the future bidding process (reverse auction) will be announced on a specific bidding notice.
